Sinclair stations are set to air a monologue falsely claiming masks and lockdown precautions do not help slow the spread of COVID-19

Yesterday, we reported Sinclair stations were set to air a monologue containing egregious COVID misinformation.

Sinclair has now responded to @nytimes, saying *some* of this misinformation will be edited out of the program.

Sinclair host Eric Bolling claimed his remarks about masks were not meant to be taken seriously, while doubling down on other misinformation. ImageImageImage
As the Times points out, and as Media Matters originally reported, Bolling's Sinclair show has been a vector for COVID misinformation.
