a thread of pertinent information: first, an incredibly large and heartfelt salute to @jacknifelee for making my album sounds like it does. he's a magic person. he put light magic in the songs to season the dark.

I wrote it in a culver city coffee shop I would sit in by myself every morning after I drop my son off at school

I spent all last year trying to figure out how to write Headass. it took me 3 tries. it didnt work until I had this beat from @black_milk. my life got easier once I realized that I am a headass.

Sweatpants Spiderman used to be called negasonic middle aged warhead. this is the first song I wrote once my therapist told me to write about how I was feeling. produced by @PROFCALC

Asa's Bop is produced by @Thefrankleone. thats my son on the hook and he literally used to skip around the house singing that for years.

edge of new clothes is the very first song I wrote for the album. I needed to yell rap and at the time I was too stressed out to know exactly what to yell rap about. the hook is telling tho. produced by Loden

the vocals on the album are from the demo I recorded at home. I couldnt find that same energy when I tried to re-do it.

Im a Joestar can sound like a shallow song but it really comes from a deep need to find an external source of strength. its one of my prayer songs like 'celebrity reduction' or 'neighborhood protection'

airplane boneyard used to have completely different words. like almost every word in the song was different in the demo version. but It took me a while to really understand what the song was about. and once I did I had to rewrite it.

15-20ft ocean is on here because it legitimately makes me happy. me and my son wrote the hook and made up the lyrics that day about an awful thing that happened the day before. its great that he didnt need a therapist to tell him to rap about his trauma. produced by @NEDARBNAGROM
