A federal judge invalidated three resource management plans in Montana last night following a ruling that blocked William Perry Pendley from acting as the director of the Bureau of Land Management.
Judge Brian Morris seemingly responding to public comments made by Pendley here:
The judge also denied a motion last night from conservation groups that sought to introduce other acts that should be set aside under the current litigation.
But he said the groups "remain free to file suit in the appropriate federal district court to challenge land management decisions they have identified as potentially unlawful."
From Morris' order last night:
Response from @BLMNational: "The court's erroneous ruling continues to disregard basic facts and misapprehend how authority is delegated within federal agencies. Deputy Director Pendley did not take the actions attributed to him by the court with respect to the RMPs."
"... The Department will continue to comply with the court's orders while reviewing all legal options to fight these outrageous rulings."
