@AllyaSims4@sydneymacoretta im with you in that boat. i bought sims 1 on the first day of its release, and been with it whole heartedly all the way through its lifespan. with sims 4 everything changed. i was at first so excited, i remember seeing the sims 1 announcement trailer and was so emotional.
@AllyaSims4@sydneymacoretta (1) i thought to myself, wow this looks amazing and sounds incredible and couldnt wait to get my hands on it, i bought everything up until vampires. even with release of vampires i was still excited, thought it was so well done. but along the way up until this time i had read
@AllyaSims4@sydneymacoretta (2) about the sims 4 original intention. of it being a game designed to be for multiplayer use, that the core of the game engine was never designed for what the "sims franchise" was designed to be. i read about the limitaions the game would have, and became more and more
@AllyaSims4@sydneymacoretta (3) disappointed with every release, cause i was starting to see that the game just wasnt getting better and the limitations were becoming obvious. up until vampires i alwats felt hopeful that this was just the early stages of a new game thats having growing pains. that this
@AllyaSims4@sydneymacoretta (4) would eventually get better like it always does but soon that story i mentioned started making alot of sense and its shortcomings became clearer and clearer. fast forward some years and then we're told this garbage game, the worst of the modern day franchise is gonna continue
@AllyaSims4@sydneymacoretta (5) for a long time to come. everything just keeps getting worse and worse. and to top that all off, after rioning the sims 4 on a quest to create a multiplayer sims game, now i hear they are gonna repeat this mistake with the sims 5 and once again go for multiplayer again.
@AllyaSims4@sydneymacoretta (6) i feek like... Damnit, learn from your mistakes. nobody's totally happy with the sims 4, and so many of us want the freedom of what we always had with the improvement and capabilities of modern day technology. we now have games with cities in the scale of 10 miles or more.
@AllyaSims4@sydneymacoretta (7) i know and understand that simulation can be quite taxing on a game, so im not expecting a 10 mile open world sims game. especially since im on a 10 year old PC. but im sure that technology is now at a level where the sims franchise is capable of so much much more. it's sad.
