This tweet. It is Gold. The swamy neatly explains the importance of shedding our egos to attain lotus feet. Will explain as simple as possible. See thread.
Banana leaf is so proud of himself that it claims that it is very important in ones life as it is used in serving food. So the Beatle leaf, shames him and says, u r thrown after eating but I'm the greatest, because I am important for digestion.
Hearing this curry leaves laughs it off. It says, yes you are important but ppl chew you and spit you out all over. What a waste of life it says. Then it says, I'm important in every meal, ppl use me in all types of food. Hearing this Tulsi says...
But you are kept outside the plate and not eaten. So it concludes, you all have kept ur egos, so even though u r all important, u r discarded. But I have shed my ego, so I am placed on the Almighty God.

Moral: Leave your ego and lead fruitful life.

The pics below are of Chausath Yogini Temple in Morena, MP. In early 1900s, Edvin Lutyens visited this temple and he used the design of this temple for the Parliament of India. Unfortunately, neither he nor any of our subsequent historians even cared to mention about this temple.
It was spread for decades with impunity that the Indian Parliament is a masterpiece of Lutyens. They knew that if they glorified the Temple and our advancement in architecture & construction, Indians may develop a sense of self pride, something Neh πu & his bunch of historians..
resisted at any cost. Hence, no mention of this temple was ever officially made.
Look at the structure, pillars, inner&outer facade. Our Parliament is a mere copy of this temple. This temple was built around 1050AD. Almost 900yrs before our Parliament.

I never disliked any religion nor ever thought that my religion is superior. Loved watching Khan movies, never thought it had ulterior motives than entertainment. Never was Hindu centric. But I was too gullible to believe everything was right and good in my country.
1/n
I believed what news channels showed me. I bought what movies showed me. Was too naive to even acknowledge the falsehood which was placed under my nose to sniff. Wished my friends on their festivals but never received from them, this did not ponder a Q in me.
2/n
Movies made fun of my Gods, this did not irritate me. I was too ignorant of facts. But in past years I have watched how the world around me which I was happy living closing my eyes n senses have collapsed.

Just was discussing few points with hubby regarding the recent turn of events in Maharastra.

BJP is losing it's core Hindu voters in the garb of Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas.

Modi/BJP came to power seeking Hindu votes, protecting Hindutva. BJP should stop appeasing atleast now. 1/n
We have one Hindu rastra and protecting thus should be our priority. Secularism ke aadh mei desh ko bahuton le kafi loot liye. Ab bas... aur nhi.

BJP should stop being apologetic being Hindu. They have already lost many major states. Further more will cause severe damage.
2/n
Hindus will not tolerate this. BJP should look after the Hindu sentiments too. How much ever you Ppl appease the minorities they still will vote against you. For them religion matters more than development.

1794 AD, The Third Mysore war took place between Tipu Sultan and Britishers. The Mysore soldiers captured a truck which was carrying food for the British army. A simple Marathi named Kosaji was the one who drove this truck. Tipu Sultan ordered to cut off his nose.
Kosaji with his nose cut was released after the end of the war.

A British doctor came forward to treat him. But Kosaji did not allow that doctor to treat him and said to take him to a traditional physician named Kumar.
The Britishers scolded him for choosing the local remedy instead of modern medicine.

He said, "Dr. Kumar will fix my cut nose again.” Everyone started laughing. But they agreed to his request and took him to Kumar. The local physician, Kumar, was doing a brick kiln business.
