Finished watching #Scam1992OnSonyLIV. Brilliant show! Arguably the best Indian web series so far. Kudos to the makers of the show and great performances by the cast 👏🏾
I sometimes felt that Harshad Mehta was made a scapegoat by the Indian law enforcement agencies and the political establishment. Sure, what he did was a crime but far more severe scams have gone unpunished thanks to the faulty system that exists in India.
How many powerful and rich people have actually been found guilty and punished in our country? Contrast the custodial death of Harshad Mehta with medical treatment some of the corrupt politicians have received. The latter have spent more time in 5-star hospitals than in jails.
