Just wait until the Trump campaign hears about all the voters letting their kids push their ballots into drop boxes for cute Instagram posts. nytimes.com/2020/10/22/us/…
“Earlier this month, a Trump campaign official told The Times that the campaign... was only interested in people who were dumping large numbers of ballots — not in those bringing an extra ballot or two. That assertion appears to have been false.” nytimes.com/2020/10/22/us/…

Federal rioting charges against extremists have run into legal trouble when they’ve focused too much on speech, but a case that involves firing an AK-47 style semiautomatic rifle into a police department probably isn’t going to have the same issues. huffpost.com/entry/rise-abo…
Still, not the type of defendant Strom Thurmond had in mind when he pushed through the rioting act as an amendment to the Civil Rights Act of 1968! huffpost.com/entry/anti-rio…

“It’s a national scandal that we have so little information about people who die in state custody. I don’t know of any other developed country where it’s really impossible to say how many people died in jails and prisons in a given year.” huffpost.com/entry/jail-dea…
