"Outnumbered" co-host Melissa Francis has been off the air for 2 weeks.

Francis had been working without a contract for nearly a year, a source told us. She had filed a gender-based pay discrimination claim against the company that has been in arbitration latimes.com/entertainment-…
The complaint said Francis was underpaid compared with her male colleagues. A Fox News representative would not comment on the matter, saying it was confidential. Francis did not respond to a request for comment. latimes.com/entertainment-…
The Fox News rep did say she is still an employee and its daytime programming is being revamped.

However, a source told us otherwise: latimes.com/entertainment-…
The pay flap comes as Fox News has tried to improve its workplace environment for women since the firing of its founding chief executive, Roger Ailes, in 2016 over sexual harassment claims latimes.com/business/holly…
But only earlier this year, the network once again confronted allegations of sexual misconduct by its senior news staff latimes.com/entertainment-…
Here's how Fox News plans on handling election day Flag of United States twitter.com/i/events/13182…
