We have no use for performative patriotism where people wrap themselves in the flag while trampling everything it stands for. We will always stand for the anthem and always stand for your right not to.

We miss civil discourse. We love a good debate of the issues – deconstructing ideas without tearing people apart.

We are tired of zealots shouting down rational thought and canceling anyone who disagrees with them.

We have had more than enough of partisanship. These political parties are no fun.

We love a good protest, but disdain vandals and looters. We support our police but think police brutality should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

We are curious. We hunger for knowledge. We know opinions aren't news. We don't want sides; we want the truth. We fact check. And then we check our sources.

We think the Fourth Estate is a valuable watchdog. We are wary of anyone shouting "fake news!" An honest person never needs to tell you they are. We know conspiracy theories are entertainment, not information.

We trust the scientific process. We follow the data. We believe the experts. We think being "elite" is a good thing.

We are happy to invest in nurturing schools, thriving cities, innovative hospitals, strong roads, clean air, pure water.

We believe America should be leading the world in research. Pioneering new medical treatments, space exploration, and alternative energy technologies for the benefit of all humankind, the environment, and the economy.

We believe America should always be a beacon of freedom. That shining city upon the hill. A positive example for the world. The symbol of justice, stability, and truth.

We think it's time to make America America again.
