Consider if you will, a hollowed-out vessel of a political party that's grifted for decades off vague promises of freedom, desperate for relevancy. So desperate that they'd let a 4th-rate podcaster connect them concretely with a hate movement.
Welcome to the Twilight Zone.
Hours ago @UR_Ninja released PatriotWave’s leaked discord. Today we are going to outline how this group of fascists managed to crawl their way into mainstream electoral politics through the vehicle of the Libertarian Party.
Enter “Road 2 Liberty”—a "libertarian" Boogaloo-branded podcast. Front and center is Dustin C. Hobbs of Grand Island, Nebraska: libertarian congressional candidate, CNC machinist at Dramco Tool Co Inc, army veteran, and member of the recently leaked PatriotWave discord.
Hobbs is a Pinochet-loving, honk honkler-dogwhistling, fashy “libertarian”—but he’s also a @LPNational‘s candidate for state rep in Nebraska’s 3rd Congressional District
Here’s some edits of the Road2Liberty logo Dustin shared.
Dustin is a major Boogaloo Boy and hosts a rotating cast of movement oddballs. Among them has been Jordon Lee Shepherd aka “Squid”, “Merc”, “Kentucky”, and “Bodark” of PatriotWave. Hobbs himself was likewise in the PatriotWave discord chat.
More on PatriotWave and Jordon Lee Shepherd below:
A neo-confederate militiaman-turned-libertarian-podcaster, Dustin appears to be quite comfortable with the racist politics advanced by boogaloo boys like PatriotWave. He also has hosted libertarian presidential candidate @Jorgensen4POTUS as well as @officialmcafee.
@Jorgensen4POTUS participated in a sort of Boog Boy town hall this June hosted by Hobbs and answered questions from Neo-Nazi Boogaloo Boys Jordon Shepherd and Rich Elmore (better known as “North /K/arolina” of the recently leaked PatriotWave discord.)
At one point North /K/arolina had one of the largest Boogaloo Pages on Facebook before being IP banned and comes directly out of the alt-right.
In the PatriotWave chat he claimed to be in contact with a pro-Boogaloo police unit ready to go rogue.
1) talk to the libertarians you know about the boogaloo and let them know the movement doesn't support liberty in the slightest. Tell them if they let the Boogaloo Boys into their spaces, they're letting fascists take over.
2) contact Dramco and see if Dustin is reflecting their values as a company dramcotool.com/contact-us.php (it’s quite easy you don’t have to leave contact info)
4) Let Boog boys know they are not welcome when we take the streets. It’s a fundamentally right wing, entryist, and fascist movement born off 4chan based off of a racist meme about a second civil war. If you see floral shirts in the crowd let the folks around you know.
A piddling fascist plot like this should be swept back into the corners of the Twilight Zone.
You’re traveling through another dimension — a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a cursed land of Rhodesia worship, incels, and militaria. There’s a signpost up ahead: your next stop: The Twilight Zone!
⚠️ Content Warning ⚠️
This entire thread is going to come with a huge content warning attached. We will discuss the beliefs and actions of white supremacists and at points share their uncensored propaganda and memes as evidence of their bigotry and violence.
Viewers, before we proceed with this episode, we’ll have to clarify where a lot of this filth originates: /k/. 4chan’s allegedly apolitical militaria and weapons board — in many ways — gave birth to the Boogaloo Movement
There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is know to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. The middle ground between light and shadow, between optics and infiltration. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area we call The Twilight Zone.
Witness if you will one of the largest Boogaloo chats on MeWe, “Big Luau Fire Pit” numbering in at 1597 members at the time of this posting. Out of Big Luau Fire Pit, the United States Boogaliers Corp was born and at their head “Obi Boog Kenobi” who we will expose in this thread.
Following a wave of deplatforming on Facebook and Discord, Boogaloo Boys flocked to MeWe, a “privacy focused” alternative to Facebook. Many Boogaloo pages remain on Facebook. Facebook just doesn’t care enough to remove militia pages.
Boogaloo Boy John Decicco Jr. also going on alternate accounts by Jay Decicco or Jay Rich is making terroristic threats after appearing to make the 5 hour drive to Allen, TX for the “Justice for Sophie” Boogaloo rally. He appears to be based near the Houston, Texas area.
Decicco caught the attention of Boogaloo Boys on MeWe who posted a link to his Facebook. Boogaloo Boys and antisemites are commenting at the moment trying to get him to 1000. As of this writing the thread is at 385 comments.
Within the last couple days John appears to have cosmetically prepared his gun/kit for the Allen rally. As he notes he attended armed.
We interrupt our scheduled broadcast briefly to address some viewer feedback from none other than one Jordon Lee Shepherd, US Navy Reservist and founder of Patriot Wave. Our sailor has got himself in quite the stormy waters, plot a course straight for the Twilight Zone.
Here’s the recap from last ep - one thing to add is that Jordon has recently served in an expeditionary combat command and “actually gets to shoot stuff finally” previously Jordon was an inspector aboard the ship he was serving on.
“You're traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of paranoia and propaganda; bigotry and belligerence. A journey with strangers to fiction and things stranger than fiction. Next stop, exit 161: the Twilight Zone!”
A group of Nazi propagandists within the Boogaloo Movement are going by the fashionable name Patriot Wave. At their helm, a US Navy Reservist, one Jordon Lee Sherperd: alias “Squid”, the founder and owner of the brand. Enter Patriot Wave.
Patriot Wave first came to the attention of antifascists, press, and researchers following the 2020 Virginia Citizens Defense League Lobby Day where Jordon and a group of supporters sported Patriot Wave patches and siege-style skull-masks made popular by neo-nazi terror groups.
