Walmart has temporarily removed all guns and ammunition from the shelves of stores across the U.S. ahead of potential ‘civil unrest’ following the election.
The company says it's making the move out of an abundance of caution to curb the theft of firearms and related products due to ‘the current unrest in isolated areas of the country.’
At this time, customers will still be able to purchase these items upon request. The company has not decided how long the products will remain off the sales floor.
Walmart had previously pulled guns & ammo displays from U.S. stores due to the civil unrest in the summer of 2020, following the killing of George Floyd.
UPDATE: Walmart has reversed its decision to pull guns and ammo from displays go.nowth.is/34FAGYO

A coalition of more than 130 different organizations are planning protests across the United States, in the event Pres. Trump tries to undermine the integrity of the election and claim victory before all ballots are counted. The events are listed at ProtectTheResults.com. Image
The coalition includes groups like Planned Parenthood, Black Lives Matter, the Women’s March, Supermajority, Vote Save America, and the Sunrise Movement.
‘We can’t assume that Donald Trump will respect the peaceful transfer of power,’ said group founder Sean Eldridge, adding that if Trump tries to interfere any further, ‘then we would mobilize.’

Last night a federal appeals court stated that Minnesotans must return mail-in ballots by 8pm on Nov. 3rd to ensure they are counted, reversing the state’s original plan to keep counting absentee ballots postmarked by Election Day for an additional week.
Biden is expected to echo this last minute change and urge voters to vote early in-person or drop off their ballots at an official ballot drop box location ASAP.

Fans of 'Borat Subsequent Moviefilm' have raised more than $100k for Jeanise Jones, an Oklahoma woman who serves as a babysitter to Borat's daughter, Tutar, in the film.
Jones' authentic, unscripted exchanges with Tutar (played by Maria Bakalova) are some of the most unexpectedly heartwarming of the gross-out comedy.
According to Jones' pastor, who set up her GoFundMe, Jones thought she had agreed to participate in a documentary in exchange for $3,600.

Time is running out for voters to return their mail-in ballots. Recent analysis from the Southern Poverty Law Center found that about 30 million Americans who requested mail-in ballots have not returned them. Image
It is critical to get in your ballot as soon as possible, as some states will not count votes received after Nov 3, including in the battleground state of Wisconsin. Due to delays with the USPS, voters should return their mail-in ballots to an official ballot drop-off location.
44 states across the country are offering in-person early voting, which might be the safest and most reliable method of voting. Find ballot drop box locations, voting information, poll hours, and everything else you need to cast a ballot at Vote.org.
