it's halloween so here's a fantasy nomin au where jeno is a depressed zombie that is used to seeing people turn away from him because of his weird actions and looks but on a night where the moon was the fullest, he sees a sillouette of a man in a grand cape standing atop a roof.
the moment he turns around and locks his red eyes with jeno's dull ones, he dashes towards him and bites jeno's neck hard. right when the vampire removes his fangs after realising jeno's body was dead without fresh blood, he sneers and turns away reluctantly,
leaving a lingering look on jeno before disappearing into thin air. there jeno stands rooted to the ground as he feels his heart beat for the first time in 67 years.
hm to give some context, jaemin is a pureblooded vampire that has been locked away in isolation for nearly 1000 years and when he manages to escape out the coffin, his thirst for blood was too extreme he couldn't recognise jeno was a zombie when he bit him.
also, jeno is not only struggling with depression, he's also really anxious and had ptsd from his first and last relationship that resulted in him turning into a zombie with a broken heart for the past few decades. (not supposed to be this depressing but its just fantasy!)
well, y'all can just imagine how sweet and fluffy these two will be as they do super cheesy things for each other, think about how old-fashioned their romance would be, amidst the dark and tragic backstories of them both, right?
