Thread on #gVote results

I voted for an opposition party who are refusing to recognize the results and are asking for early elections.

I think parties should recognize the results, consolidate their powers on winning the run offs in majoritarian districts and get on with it /1
I am fully aware campaign funding of GD is totally out of control and disproportionate, fully aware they use admin resources in run up to the elections and to lesser degree on the day. But I also recognize this is generally normal standard of elections in Georgia. /2
We have accepted worse results with less noise and hustle. I know its not great, but it is what it is. And we won't change this in a day, but we can damage the country and the process by trying too hard to do so. /3
Also I think opposition parties should recognize the results, because they are quite realistic (considering the above tweets). Such is the state of the country, the pre election polls are generally in line with the outcome. Except UNM got more smaller party votes and /4
GD (with some margin of error) got generally what was excepted on the proportional vote, but actually struggled(es) more than many excepted them to on the majoritarian districts. /5
Also, by being sore losers, opposition, including the party I voted for, comes across as irresponsible and not constructive. Which makes me think, this eclectic opposition was never capable of creating a coalition government. /6
Some key players, key figures inside this opposition wouldn't be able to be team players and collaborate if their lives depended on it. /7
The result is that 2020 parliament will be stronger than 2016 parliament. Probably even 2012. Get on with it and make 2024 parliament even better. Make the electoral system better. Go to work!

Sincerely,
#gVote Voter

While Lelo (Davit Usupashvili's party) is against entering the parliament, his wife, former defense minister @tinakhidasheli is for entering the parliament. Something tells me its the idea of Khazaradze-Japaridze rather than Usupashvili's
European Georgia too refuses to enter. Well, they have massively underperformed. So I suppose everyone saw that coming

Feel like calling Aleko Elisashvili to tell him to enter the parliament. Citizens too are refusing last I heard.

There is a story about his phone number. Point 8. oc-media.org/the-most-memor…
Patriots Alliance also refusing their mandates. They to underperformed based on the polls and certainly by their own expectations. Them refusing to enter, should make "pro Western parties" feel not as special or noble about their decision.

Georgin Labor Party leader Shalva Natelashvili went further. Probably checked recent polls in US too just to be on the safe side. #gVote

Girchi are going to go on their Girchi TV live stream in 20 minutes to probably join the rest. 17:30 Georgian time facebook.com/GIrchiTV
Girchi said no. As expected.
To sum up, here are the parties that have refused to enter the parliament
