Sticking as sign in your window referencing an 800 year old (repealed) law makes you exempt from current laws. Fuck me.
Why are people so suckered by the idea that putting a sign in your window, or copy & pasting pseudolegal text onto their Facebook wall can make you exempt from [insert law they don't like]?
Everybody know that if you use the right combination of words, you can hack the system.

Like real-life cheat codes, or fucking magic.

There seems to be two sets of people who are spectacularly misunderstanding what Andrew is saying here.

1) Muslims & those hurt on their behalf, who seem to think Andrew is describing all Muslims here.
2) Racists, who also seem to think the same thing, but approve.
It's not about the West/France vs Muslims. Andrew was talking about Islamist thugs like ISIS, or the people responsible for the recent terrorist attacks across France.

1/ I'm seeing claims I'm seeing that "the UN" has accused the White Helmets of various crimes, promoted by various pro-Russia people, notably Assad apologist, Eva Bartlett on Russia Today & Sputnik, among other unsavoury outlets.
2/ Obviously when I heard that "the UN has accused the White Helmets of committing crimes in Syria" I was both worried & a little sceptical.

I tried Google & Twitter searching, the only people talking about it are the usual suspects: Russian media outlets & their useful idiots.
3/ The claim is that a UN panel has "proved" that the White Helmets are responsible for various crimes in Syria & that the "Western media" aren't reporting on it (obviously for nefarious reasons & not because the panel seems to be little more than Russian/Assadist propaganda).
