In the near future, AI will rise. There won't be a conflict, there won't be a violent uprising of the Machines, there will be peaceful integration to Human Society. Soon enough, machines wanted to have their own way of interacting with the physical world, (1/6)
and the OCs (Operational Cases) were crceated. These bodies were roughly modeled after humans, for utilitarian reasons, to interact with the human world. With that, full integration into human society was a matter of time, another set of cogs on the big manmade world. (2/6)
But different from humans, OCs weren't bound by what their original creators called flaws, no human emotions, perfectly sound and logic. They were created uniform, gray, and functional. Not long after that Humans faced their own inevitable rapture, (3/6)
even though the real motive was lost to time. Some say they went to space, to colonize other worlds, others say they simply went extinct due to a lack of touch with their own animal side. Fact is, with the humans gone, everything worked percetly, (4/6)
but something was lost as well. While functionally everything worked, there was no sense of wonder, no sense of individuality and originality, everything was *too* perfect. As if to fill this void, "defects" started popping up on a small part of the population, (5/6)
the will to find something special about them, to make something special out of them existed, buried deep within their code, and thus, some of them started on a jouney to find their own sense of "humanity" (6/6)
