the new twitter retweet functionality is incredibly annoying and totally unnecessary lol
if you didn't update the app it's still the old way. but on web app and updated app version it's the new cringe way
instead of there being a popup where you can choose to rt or quote rt, it goes straight to the quote rt window. there you can choose to quote rt without any comment so it retweets normally.

just replace the king with politicians, add celebrities/entertainment/corporate media & self-help gurus to the priests, and replace the gendarmerie with the police, and you have today's pyramid. same shit
