I was at some afterparty-type deal at the MLS ASG last year and I walked in (I had a wristband someone gave me.) As I entered the bar I saw Wondo being denied entry - because nobody recognized him. I was like “THATS MLS’ ALL-TIME LEADING SCORER PUT SOME RESPEK ON HIS NAME”
Anyways he got in and then some drunk USMNT fan approached him at the bar and, in massively slurred speech, was like “BRO LIKE WE DONT EVEN BLAME U FOR BELGIUM ANYMORE BRO ITS COOL WE LOVE U” and I just stared at him like “dude no please bail on this”
