Georgia GOP Senators Perdue and Loeffler, now both facing #GASen runoff elections, call on Georgia Sec of State Brad Raffensperger to resign:“The management of GA elections has become an embarrassment for our state..He has failed the people of GA,& he should step down immediately."
Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger responds to Georgia GOP Senators Perdue and Loeffler's call for his resignation: "Let me start by saying this is not going to happen. The voters of Georgia hired me, and the voters will be the one to fire me."
GA Sec of State Raffensperger (R): "I know emotions are running high. Politics are involved in everything now. If I was Senator Perdue, I'd be irritated I was in a runoff. And both Senators and I are all unhappy with the potential outcome for our President."
GA Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (R): "As a Republican, I am concerned about Republicans keeping the US Senate. I recommend that Senators Loeffler and Perdue start focusing on that."
Schumer from Senate floor today on GA GOP Senators Perdue and Loeffler: "Two Republican members of this chamber have called on their own Secretary of State, a fellow Republican, to resign—for no other apparent reason than the fact that President Trump did not win their state."
Schumer: "They alleged that the Secretary of State did not deliver 'honest and transparent elections'. That’s really a stunning charge in the United States of America. That’s the kind of thing you hear about in banana republics and dishonest elections."

Murphy (D-CT): "The President can keep filing frivolous legal challenges if he wants. We're not going to stop him from doing that. But just because he has the right to mount these legal challenges, that doesn't mean that Republicans here have to support him in those efforts."
