1)You are the Minister of Health and should know that Drs do not "perform" medical abortions, they prescribe them.
2)Any Dr willing to do so can prescribe medication abortion and it is completely covered by medicare in NB.
2/4
3) Unlike medication abortion, surgical abortions *are* "performed" and cannot be performed by any willing Dr. Even if they could be, they would not be covered by medicare.
4)There are not "multiple" sites for surgical abortion in NB, there are 3. 2 of them are in Moncton.
3/4
5) "Most" surgical procedures do *not* have to be performed in public hospitals to be covered by medicare. Many procedures are covered in private clinics or by reimbursement. 6) Clinic 554 did more than abortions. Patients are now denied access to those *covered* services.

The anti-abortion group at @usask was recruiting students to provide pregnancy options.
Are you medical professionals? Trained counselors?
No. You are students with opinions. Unqualified and biased: exactly who you want to be giving advice to scared pregnant people.
And they posted this fun opinion about removing a fetus from the uterus and putting it in an INCUBATOR.
This is the most disconnected from reality thing we've ever heard. @usask@usasksheaf
And the @HuskieAthletics mascot is posing with the anti-abortion group at orientation. Athletics are official representatives of a university, so what is this picture saying? @usask@usasksheaf
1/5 Getting a lot of hateful comments on Facebook right now. A lot of high and mighty statements about how we aren't "tolerant", that we censor people, that we don't care about democracy, and we aren't actually pro-choice if we don't respect anti-choicers. Here's the tea:
2/5 * No, we will not tolerate groups of people who try to force us to give birth and take away our bodily autonomy
*We are a pro choice pro Abortion page, so yeah, we gonna delete your hateful comment and ban you Charlie and Nancy.
* Please learn what censorship is.
3/5 * guess what? Abortion is a right in Canada. So we are respecting democracy by not trying to stamp those rights out just because we don't like them. That's actually democracy.
