Trump must be charged and face prosecution for his many crimes. He has never respected our norms. We have no reason to adhere to norms for him. In order to fully heal and restore faith in our system, he must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
Pundits will try to convince you that in order to heal America, we must forgive, pardon and move on. Absolutely not. We can never allow this to happen again in America and must set a firm example.
This is not political retribution. This is not revenge. This is not some fake ‘lock him up’ play. This is about respecting our laws and institutions and ensuring their survival. What good are our laws and institutions if we don’t protect them when they are under attack?
