BREAKING: US Justice Dept. investigation into non-prosecution deal with Jeffrey Epstein in 2008 ends with no action against prosecutors who oversaw the Epstein deal. nbcnews.to/3nkiPgw
The investigation found that federal prosecutors who oversaw the controversial non-prosecution deal with Epstein exercised “poor judgment” but did not break the law, Sen. Ben Sasse said Thursday. The Justice Dept. has yet to release its own statement on the findings.
"Letting a well-connected billionaire get away with child rape and international sex trafficking isn’t ‘poor judgment’ – it is a disgusting failure,” Sen. Sasse said. “Americans ought to be enraged.”
Early Thursday, Justice Dept. officials briefed several Epstein victims on the findings in a meeting in Miami, three people familiar with the matter told @NBCNews.

Two other federal investigations connected to Epstein remain ongoing.
