The fight is indeed not over. Trump is done. But what remains is Trumpism and the GOP that supports and enables him.

Every report reveals more about the craven cowardice of the Republican Senators who want to speak in secret, who want to coddle Trump, let him down easy...

It is reported that they do not want to upset Trump's voters. That Trump may turn on them if they do not continue to sing Trump's song and continue to dance to his demands.

What does it say that these are the people that these GOP types require in order to stay in power?

What does it say about the timid, craven, nature of the men & women who have so feathered their nest under the protection of the chief liar and deceiver of his supporters that they can no longer stand on their own? No longer can face the most blatant of facts.

What is especially telling about the cowards that are the GOP is that they are not leaders for a renewed America.

They have proven in word & deed who they serve. And it is not the country. It is Party First... And most especially the failed leader of their party, The Donald.

Whatever the lies and snow job that the Republicans/Trumpies have put over on the "Red States" it needs to be figured out and the truth told in a way that breaks through the fog; that breaks the grip on the mind of these low information people.

How that is done is up to people

that know how this was done. The message has been inculcated for years that the Democrats are the enemy of the country. It has been a successful message that has resulted in the rise of Trump. The @SteveSchmidtSES @davidfrum @MaxBoot @ProjectLincoln and the rest who figured out

the damage that has been done. These need to fix the problem they helped create. They know what was done, they know how to combat it.

This is not an issue of Conservative vs Liberal. It would be great if it were so simple. It is not even a simple partisan matter any longer.

Not in the old terms of Dem vs Pub. Something else has gotten into the GOP party that has infected it. While the shell has the same name it has been taken over by those foreign to its charter.

So posts like this, manifestly wrong by every objective measure. Hypocritical beyond imagination - imagine if Clinton had tried any of the trickery Trump is pulling - and she had more of a chance to succeed! - The GOP would have gone nuts in its barred teeth howling. Did anyway.

This outright lie that the election of Biden is still questionable, and that there is sufficient evidence to withhold judgment is a point held not in integrity, but out of craven fear of the fool that has taken over the Republican Party.

Where are those who will tell the truth?
