@mtgreenee Today, right this moment, on Capitol Hill and downtown D.C. alone, there are 11 gyms open for business. This doesn't include D.C. gyms near the outskirts of the District or the private gym to which you have access as a Member-Elect of Congress.

@mtgreenee Also, not for nothing: your workout form is terrible. That's not the correct form for burpees, squats, or pushups. You're "working out", I guess, but it's not doing much. If you wanna post workout videos, at least have the good sense to fake it properly for two whole minutes.

@mtgreenee Like... why are you resting your pelvis when you transition to a pushup? Are you trying to do the worm? What is that?

@mtgreenee Your back and waist are bending toward the floor. That's not a pushup. That's bending your elbows with sarcasm. Your back should be straight and rigid, shoulders break the plane formed by the straight line between your elbows, head up, all the way down.

@mtgreenee I have no idea what you're trying to do with your arms during the squat. It's like you're hugging Casper or something. Arms should be parallel to the workout surface and extended as far as possible. You're cheating yourself when you do this.

@mtgreenee When you jump during the burpee, your hands and arms should be full extended upwards. Keeping them low like that gives you psychological permission to barely jump at all. Again: you're cheating yourself. Why waste time working out if you're not actually working out?

@mtgreenee You don't need a gym so much as you need discipline and commitment. There are plenty of folks who aren't in amazing shape but come to the gym ready to get it done and go after it properly because they want it. It's like working out is a performative thing for you. Very weird.

@mtgreenee Please don't visit an Army base on an official trip and boldly offer to do a workout with them until you correct all this. They'll be polite to your face and laugh at you behind your back. Free advice.
