@J_Frick3@MP4Humanity There's a pretty big flip side to that, and one that winning progressives around the country might say is pretty powerful. Ossof and Warrnock can win by standing up for the marginalized people who won Georgia, and Michigan, and Pennsylvania for Biden 1/
@J_Frick3@MP4Humanity They can choose to outright condemn the excessive use of force by police officers. They can denounce the outright aggression and hostility that police officers in America think they are entitled to use when dealing with people of color 2/
@J_Frick3@MP4Humanity They can point out that the true lack of civility is coming from the instigators who are murdering people on the streets and then turning around to gas protestors, shoot them with rubber bullets, and even infiltrate demonstrations in order to skew public perception 3/
@J_Frick3@MP4Humanity progressives across this country showed that when you stand up for forward moving values, you can win. We don't need more politicians tone-policing the reactions of devastated and angry communities who've been dealing with the same fucked up shit for decades 4/
@J_Frick3@MP4Humanity especially when a lot of the time, "rioters" are just bad-faith actors who have the intention of making a demonstration look bad. They have so much more to gain when people feel more sympathetic to ruined property than stolen life 5
