My cousin tested positive for COVID few days ago. Today my Mami got a call from a random number asking for my cousin. The guy said he’s from the government department, since my cousin tested positive they will come to the house to test the rest of the family.
My cousin tested positive for COVID few days ago. Today my Mami got a call from a random number asking for my cousin. The guy said he’s from the government department, since my cousin tested positive they will come to the house to test the rest of the family.
He said the team is near their society and asked for the block they live in. Something didn’t sit well with my Mami. She ended the call and shared the number with a relative who is a policeman. When he called on that number, the man said he works as a janitor.
When my cousin saved his number to see his details on whatsapp, the number has a profile picture of a young guy named Shoaib Khawar. My cousin also called Chugtai Lab and they said they haven’t shared the personal information or result with anyone.
Please always verify when you get such calls and never tell your address on phone or let people enter your house without proper authentication.
