I'm tired of things being all crazy and muddled, so here's clarification:
Dysphoria is real, it's not just something that seems to suddenly happen. You can have it as a child, but it isn't about toys or clothes or stereotypes.
It comes in varying degrees and the way someone -
- manages it is completely up to them AND THEM ONLY. MIND YOUR BUSINESS. GET A HOBBY. LEAVE US ALONE.
Not everyone who is dysphoric transitions. That's okay. WE AREN'T TRANS. Appropriating that label disrespects the work people transitioning put in and the issues they face. -
- You can transition without having dysphoria. It's not my business or anyone else's what you do. BUT JUST BECAUSE YOU TRANSITION WITHOUT DYSPHORIA DOESN'T MEAN WE NEED TO ERASE THE ***FACT*** THAT IS A MENTAL HEALTH ISSUE AND ERODE THE TREATMENT MEASURES FOR IT. THAT'S SELFISH!-
- If you want to transition for whatever other medical reason, that's for you to cover with your own finances. No, insurance shouldn't cover it if it's just cosmetic. You're a spoiled brat. Get over it.
Trans exclusive spaces and medical services should be created. It can -
- only help the issues by giving them specialized research funding and care, setting in care and protections that are tragically lacking.
Stop propping up narcissists who threaten people over clothing and pronouns. Stop eroding medical and scientific language. You're making -
- things worse with your "activism" about issues you clearly don't understand. You're ruining crime statistics, medical and mental health services, compromising insurance coverage for people who need it and blurring lines to a dangerous degree. Stop it. Get another hobby. -
- Lastly, hate and bullying just results in more hate and bullying. It's not cute. Stow it. Find out what you're upset about and make efforts towards affecting POSITIVE CHANGE.
None of this is hard. I believe in you.💕
