The same people, over and over, pivoting in unison like zombies to the latest malformed and astroturfed “grievance.” The exact same people. They’re drama addicted gadflies with no true cause of their own and they should be covered accordingly.
Oh yeah, they do have a cause: They’re white supremacists and their bootlicking enablers.
But those are also the exact people — angry, riddled with drama and outbursts, personal lives a mess, no clear or true cause nor direction in life, no real or strong sense of self — who are most prone to radicalization, particularly online.
And now, thanks to @Facebook stealing and selling our data, every bad entity on the planet knows exactly who they are and how to manipulate them into acts of intimidation, violence, or even biowarfare.
And that’s exactly why targeted disinformation is so dangerous.
