EAM @DrSJaishankar announced an agreement with Afghanistan for building the Shatoot dam which would provide safe drinking water to 2 mn residents of Kabul city & launch of Phase IV of High Impact Community Development Projects that includes more than 100 projects of USD 80 mn
No part of Afghanistan is untouched by our 400+ projects (spread across all 34 provinces)
EAM @DrSJaishankar also called for an immediate and comprehensive ceasefire to stop violence in the country and reiterated that the peace process must be Afghan-led, Afghan-owned and Afghan-controlled.
