Kraken and the Movie: Valerian 
So I just watched the movie: Valerian (thank you @JasonQ38367909) and I had a thought (well many but I share that one). What did general Filitt say when talking about why he had to do it? If you watched it you do know he never mentioned that we were in a war with an alien race.
But everywhere you look the plot is explained by “an unspecified alien ship” got shot down which then destroyed planet Mül.
Now.. when you looked at that “unspecified alian ship” what did that reminded you off??
It didn’t really clicked to me until general Filitt started talking about the why??? Do you remember what he said? He was going on about economy a little out of context too..
We have a crypto exchange platform called Kraken.
Now.. we also know that there is a “super computer” (maybe even quantum, who knows) that is called the Kraken. It is at a naval commend center within the DOD...
Now we “know” that people who work there are “coming up with mathematics that doesn’t even exists yet”
We also know that they can use it for a lot of different applications. So far we “know” what we are led on to know. When Sidney P. Said “release the Kraken” I believe that she was talking about a super computer/some kind of AI.
Now what if this technology and the “servers” and energy it needs to operate etc.. what if it’s not even stationed on planet Earth? What if it’s on/is a giant “spaceship” They would certainly need currently “non-existing” mathematics and flying maneuvers:
