This Pennsylvania "hearing" is nuts.

There's a witness who is complaining because envelopes (with addresses and signatures) are separated from ballots (which show how people voted).

That's the point of a secret ballot.
GOP witness: "I am an expert in fraud."
Rudy and his crackpot witness are marveling that there can be more "absentee" ballots than were mailed out.

Pennsylvania had numerous sites (e.g. election board offices) where one could go in person to request an absentee ballot, fill it out, and submit it.
Rudy appears to have gotten this next witness from a misleading Twitter video
It appears that this next witness is an attorney licensed in Florida and Illinois who is representing Judicial Watch in a lawsuit against Illinois, which, as everyone knows*, makes him an expert on Pennsylvania election law.

*this is sarcasm, if you couldn't tell.
"you heard about global huge global issues but it goes down to the petty as well." —Florida/Illinois lawyer.

FACT CHECK: This is certainly petty.
Meanwhile on Newsmax... Image
Florida/Illinois man: "We really had no concept of what was going on."

Accurate.
This man's grievance seems to be that the amount of time it took to open and prepare mailed ballots was "absurd and obscene."

The Pennsylvania legislature specifically rejected an attempt to make it easier to open/count ballots faster.
Florida/Illinois man is mad because Republicans weren't allowed to challenge absentee ballots during counting, AFTER the period in which challenges are permitted.
"one thing one of the guarantees in the United States Constitution is that in fact every state shall have a republican form of government." —Florida/Illinois man, who doesn't seem to understand that "republican" isn't supposed to have a capital R there.
Next witness is an elderly woman who apparently mistakenly voted for the wrong candidate.
"I actually thought it was easier to vote in '92 on the world war two surplus voting machines with the curtain." —another "witness"

World War II surplus voting machines? 🤔
Jenna Ellis is trying to bring @realDonaldTrump into the hearing via her mobile phone. He wants to keep listening to the "witnesses"
Another witness thinks it's suspicious that people who didn't vote in 2012 or 2016 decided to vote this year.
.@realDonaldTrump says he's been watching the "hearing" on OAN "and a few other great networks."

(only OAN is broadcasting it).

He says he "won by a lot," which is delusional.
"this election has to be turned around because we won Pennsylvania by a lot and we won all of these swing states by a lot," @realDonaldTrump says.

(he did not win them by a lot because he lost them)
"If you were a Republican poll watcher you were treated like a dog," says @realDonaldTrump, who still does not seem to understand that people *love* dogs.
"we have to turn the election over, because there's no doubt we have all the evidence we have all the affidavits, we have everything. All we need is to have some judge listen to it properly without having a political opinion or having another kind of a problem..." --Trump
Trump on @RudyGiuliani: "What you're doing now is far more important than being a great Mayor of the City of New York and being its greatest mayor, by far, by the way, by far, this is going to be your crowning achievement, because you're saving our country."
.@RudyGiuliani: "And then you have this gap that I don't understand, between the mail in ballots you sent out 1.8 million, and the number you counted 2.5 million. That's totally impossible to explain..."

(It's not impossible to explain. People voted absentee at election offices)
"I would definitely appoint a special prosecutor to prosecute the people who conducted this election." --@RudyGiuliani

NEW: Federal prosecutors are prepared to seek indictments against multiple figures in former president Donald Trump’s orbit and may yet bring additional charges against the ex-president in the coming weeks, The @Independent has learned independent.co.uk/news/world/ame…
Per sources familiar, the Justice Department has made preparations to bring a superseding indictment against Mr Trump and could do so in several different venues, depending on how prosecutors feel the case against him in Florida is going. independent.co.uk/news/world/ame…
Prosecutors are now prepared to “stack” an “additional 30 to 45 charges” on top of the indictment brought against Mr Trump on 8 June, using evidence that has not been publicly acknowledged, including other recordings prosecutors have obtained of Mr Trump. independent.co.uk/news/world/ame…

Trump’s lawyers are probably not enjoying these remarks, as he’s going on and on about how declassifying things is “automatic” when he took things from the White House.
Now he’s ranting about @NewYorkStateAG’s lawsuit and how he’s “under leveraged”
It is accurate for him to describe his youngest son as “tall”.

NEW: Excerpts from @POTUS' #StateOfTheUnionAddress tonight —

"The story of America is a story of progress and resilience…We are the only country that has emerged from every crisis stronger than when we entered it. That is what we are doing again. Two years ago our economy...
... was reeling. As I stand here tonight, we have created a record 12 million new jobs – more jobs created in two years than any president has ever created in four years. Two years ago, COVID had shut down our businesses, closed our schools, and robbed us of so much...
....Today, COVID no longer controls our lives. And two years ago, our democracy faced its greatest threat since the Civil War. Today, though bruised, our democracy remains unbowed and unbroken."
"My economic plan is about investing in places and people that have been forgotten...

🧵Here’s what happened.

A lawyer who lacks a valid security clearance was looking through a box at @JoeBiden’s home when he discovered a paper with classification markings.

It is illegal for the lawyer to view such papers, so he stopped his search rather than keep looking… 1/
…to see if there were *more* documents that would’ve been a crime for him to look at.

Instead, he called someone who is permitted to look at such things without risk prison time.

That person finished the job and found five more pages, allowing the search to be finished… 2/
…without anyone committing a felony.

Generally, lawyers prefer to get through their day without doing crimes, which is why (per @jdawsey1 / @JaxAlemany) even a Trump lawyer, Alex Cannon, told Trump aides not to go through the boxes stashed at Mar-a-Lago because they… 3/

So far the 11th Circuit hearing isn't going well for James Trusty (Trump lawyer) — not 30 seconds in he's interrupted and asked if he can cite any case in which a court has used equitable jurisdiction in a pre-indictment scenario.
Trusty starts talking about the "raid" and Circuit Judge Britt Grant interrupts him again to ask if the should be using the term "raid".
Judge: "It is an initial moment of use of equitable powers to allow the parties to intimidate the entire premise of an exercise of this extraordinary kind of jurisdiction would be that the seizure itself is unlawful. And if you can't establish that then what are we doing here?"
