Hey Theoni, why is there a difference in the diving behaviour between male and female Weddell Seals? Why are males not seen diving away from the coast

What a fantastic way to explore the concept of frailty using building blocks. Absolutely loved this.

Supporting care experienced children is so incredibly important, this is an amazing project to find ways to provide evidence to government about how to best to support Scotland's care experienced kids

The importance of "Take only pictures, leave only footprints" is vital in ensuring that responsible tourism keeps landscapes, locals and nature in a positive condition

I can't believe that Weddel seal noise is actually made by an animal! So weird but very cool!

Though it's a similar noise I make when the communal gardeners come round with their leaf blower during a zoom call, so perhaps im part seal

Get our your microscopes, we're heading to the nanoscale to find out more about nanomaterials!

After a short lunch break we are back, and it's time for a bit of time travel.

This is super nice, the idea that imagined contact and the use of objects like dolls and puppets to help reduce prejudice in young children is amazing.

The Move2Learn project looks at science learning through movement, with amazing partners including

I've been involved in bits & pieces of this project and it's absolutely fascinating!

I had no idea that there was such a marked difference geographically in how we perceive gender through hearing voices.

This is a really fabulous explanation by Jo from @UofGlasgow

This would be some amazing smelling paint.

I love the idea of trying this at home and may need to try out a couple of different options over the weekend.

So two things:
1. Disco Mouse is now stuck in my head, John Travolta, but as a dancing mouse

2. I love that Tina explained this whole process, including the fact that sometimes (& often) science does go wrong

I will definitely want to read your book when you have it written Karen! Traditional Scottish music is a real love and something I don't listen to quite enough
