Seems like some fans need this cleared up: NFL moves games for safety, not to accommodate teams.
Broncos-Patriots was moved because too many positives tests happened too close to game day, not because a star QB was unavailable.
Saints-Broncos would be moved if positives in a.m.
if there aren’t new positives/risk of an outbreak (like there appeared to be with Pats game), Broncos-Saints game will be played.
If Lock, Rypien and Bortles had worn masks, they’d be able to play. That’s on them.
The NFL isn’t moving games for some teams and not for others.
It’s the protocols NFL and NFLPA have agreed to. Even if game was moved to Tuesday, it wouldn’t be long enough for Denver’s QBs to return based on the COVID protocols.
This is a unique season, but the protocols are known. Broncos aren’t being treated worse than any other team.
