@Hadithoftheday Abi Hurayrah R.A.
Abu Hurayrah R.A retained more than 5,000 Hadiths word for word, throughout his life.
Abu Hurairah R.A was very keen to seek knowledge.
He was not literate and so all his knowledge depended on oral transmission and memorization
@Hadithoftheday Before accepting Islam, The name of Abu Hurayrah R.A was "Abdul Shams (which means Slave of Sun) ", but after accepting Islam, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ appointed hum with a new name "Abdul - Rehman (which means servant of the most merciful) .
@Hadithoftheday Abu Hurayrah R.A was called as "Father of Kittens (Abu Hurayrah).
Abu Hurairah was given this name because wherever he went, he always had a cat with him.
@Hadithoftheday Abu Huraira R.A had a cat when he was a child. He loved cats. He always played with cats. His friends called him Abu Huraira- ‘father of the cats'.
After that everyone called him Abu Huraira. His real name was almost forgotten.
@Hadithoftheday Abu Hurairah R.A loved knowledge very much. With his strong memory, Abu Hurairah R.A set out to memorize all that he heard from the Prophet ﷺ.He didn’t spend his time in the marketplace or working in the fields. So he was free to stay with the Prophet ﷺ and go on trips with him
@Hadithoftheday "Abu Hurayrah Narrates" is the most widely used phrases in the Muslim vocabulary.
Abu Hurairah R.A was a very pious and devoted person. His house was like a mosque at night. He would stay up for a third of the night, his wife for another third and his servant for another third.
@Hadithoftheday Abu Hurayrah R.A stayed at the Prophet ﷺ 's Mosque & devoted himself to the service of the Prophet ﷺ for three years
The main purpose of his stay was to learn the Qur'an and Hadith from the Prophet ﷺ
Subsequently, he noted 5,374 Hadiths from the Prophet ﷺ in about 1000 days
@Hadithoftheday A total of 1,034 Hadiths have been attested by Imam Bukhari and included in his Jame Al Sahih. Imam Muslim also included 391 Hadiths in his book from Abu Hurairah.
@Hadithoftheday Once Marwaan Ibn Al-Hakam wanted to examine Abu Hurairah R.A's memorizing ability. He invited him to sit with him and asked him to narrate Hadiths while a scribe sat behind a screen and was told to write whatever Abu Hurairah R.A said. +
@Hadithoftheday After a year, Marwaan invited Abu Hurairah R.A again and asked him to narrate the same Hadiths the scribe had written. It was confirmed that Abu Hurairah R.A had not forgotten a single word!

@Hadithoftheday Surah Rahman - Chapter 55.
The ayah/verse is فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَان which means “Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny"?
This ayah is repeated 31 times in Surah Al-Rahman.
It's most repeated verse of the glorious Qur'an.
@Hadithoftheday It is one of the most notable verses of the Quran.
The oft-repeated verse,
"So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?”, serves to remind us of our lack of gratitude towards Allah.
@Hadithoftheday Allah has given us life, loved ones, as well as many other comforts.
However, we often tend to take many of His Blessings for granted. As such, we rarely offer thanks to our Lord. +
@Hadithoftheday Ibraheem A.S.
Ibraheem A.S was such an honoured position as he was described as Khalil-ullah – the Friend of Allah (Qur’an 4:125).
Allah says in Qur'an:
And Allah took Ibraheem as an intimate friend."
(Qur'an. An-Nisaa 4: Verse 125)
@Hadithoftheday Many Qur’anic verses revealed concerning Ibraheem A.S suggest that his outstanding importance and high rank among prophets was because of the purity and sincerity of his relationship with his Lord, to whom he totally surrendered his will.
@Hadithoftheday The greatness of Ibrahim’s A.S standing with Allah is confirmed in a number of hadiths. The Prophet ﷺ referred to him as “the best of creation” (Muslim) and mentioned him as one of the prophets whose intercession the believers would seek on the Day of Judgement (Bukhari).
@Hadithoftheday Sayyidah Khadijah R.A
After first revelation, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was trembling with fear. Khadija R.A set out with Prophet ﷺ to her cousin "Waraqa bin Nawafil".He was a man of knowledge. After listening to Prophet ﷺ' s story, waraqa told them that Prophet ﷺ is last messenger
@Hadithoftheday After listening closely to story of Prophet ﷺ، Waraqa, who was both old and blind, exclaimed, “This is the same being who brought the revelations of Allah to Moses. I wish I was young and could be alive when your people will drive you out.”
@Hadithoftheday Around the fifteenth year of their marriage, towards the end of Ramadan, when Prophet ﷺ was forty and Khadijah R.A was fifty-five, Muhammad ﷺ suddenly appeared at their house in the middle of the night, trembling with fear and saying, “Cover me up, cover me up!” +
@Hadithoftheday Iblīs refused to prostrate/bow before Adam A.S on the command of Allah.
Allah says in Qur'an:
"And when We said to the angels, Prostrate before Adam; so they prostrated, except for Iblees. He refused and was arrogant and became of the disbelievers."
(Quran Al-Baqara 2: Verse 34)
@Hadithoftheday Allah Says in Qur'an:
"What prevented you from prostrating when I commanded you? [Satan] said, I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay."
(Qur'an. Al-A'raaf 7: Verse 12)
@Hadithoftheday Allah asked all the angels to bow as a mark of respect to Adam who was created so miraculously. The order to prostrate was obviously not so that the angels would worship Adam A.S, for no one may be worshipped except Allah, the Creator of all things
@Hadithoftheday Once.
The scholars are unanimously agreed about obligatory in wudoo’ is to wash each part once, although washing each part two or three times is Sunnah.
Ibn Abbas R.A said: The Prophet ﷺ did wudoo washing each part once (Bukhari -157)
@Hadithoftheday There are sahih ahadith which mention washing each part once,& each part three times,& washing some parts 3 times, some 2 times and some once
The difference indicates that all of these are permissible,& washing each part three times is most perfect & each part once is sufficient
@Hadithoftheday But one should not persist in washing each part only once and not do that which is more perfect, because by doing so we are depriving ourselves of more reward.
@Hadithoftheday During Morning Prayer.
Umar R.A was violently stabbed six times at the time of the morning prayer by a Persian slave named Firoz (Abu Lulu) .
@Hadithoftheday After Umar R.A was stabbed, he became unconscious.
Unconscious and bleeding profusely, Umar R.A was then carried home. When he regained consciousness, he asked who his murderer was. When told, he said "Praise be to Allah that I have not been murdered by a Muslim."
@Hadithoftheday Knowing that his death was imminent, Umar R.A asked his son Abdullah R.A to beg Aisha R.A's permission for his burial by the side of Muhammad ﷺ and Abu Bakr R.A.
Aisha R.A wept as she came to know that Umar R.A was on his deathbed.
