In Yuma, Arizona it was a DEADLY Thanksgiving for members of my community. 14 people died over the holidays. 752 new infections. 109 people hospitalized for COVID and the ICU is full. Yet everything is open! 6/18

Despite, AZDHS saying there are 189 beds in Arizona. ER doctors across the state are still having difficulty FINDING ICU beds amid nursing staff shortages. ICU patients are boarding in ERs for 8-12 hours. Tragically, 48 more Arizonans died, opening 48 ICU beds. 7/18

Over the past 5 days, 516 people in Arizona were placed on a ventilator because they couldn't breathe. Many will die on the ventilator. This video captures the face of COVID. 43 y.o. Sara Montoya from El Paso TX before she was intubated and died. 8/18
