One of the plaintiffs in Sidney Powell's latest election lawsuit says he did not consent to participating in the case. "I learned through social media today that my name was included in a lawsuit without my permission," he said.

Here's Powell's lawsuit describing Derrick Van Orden as one of the plaintiffs. He's also on the caption.

And here's Van Orden saying he was included without permission and that he is "not involved in the lawsuit seeking to overturn the election in Wisconsin."

Van Orden said he spoke to a law firm last week, said it "sounded interesting and get back to me," and never heard anything more. He said he learned that he was listed as a plaintiff in Powell's case from a reporter's tweet.

"I was added to the lawsuit without my knowledge."

Asked why someone was listed as a plaintiff without her consent, Sidney Powell replied: "Apparently a miscommunication. We will take appropriate action to clear it up. "

So far, there's nothing on the court's public docket addressing this.
