NEW: Minnesota Supreme Court denies Republican-led effort to stop certification of state's voting result in a petition that questioned the handling of absentee ballots. Image
The high court ruled that the effort--on 11/24--to stop Minnesota's election certification was untimely given that the state set rules for handling absentee ballots more than two months earlier in September.
As @DemocracyDocket notes, the Trump campaign and its Republican allies are now 1-43 in post-election litigation.
There are still a handful of suits outstanding, none w/a high chance of success.
Among them:
*a SCOTUS petition about a PA case
*a GA state case
*a WI state case
*a WI federal case
*a MI state case
*and Sidney Powell's 4 kraken voting machine conspiracy cases in AZ, WI, MI, GA
NEW: Another Trump campaign legal loss.
The Michigan Court of Appeals denies campaign's leave to appeal a lower court loss concerning the validity of absentee ballots in Wayne County.
Presiding judge notes that Michigan has already certified its vote, rendering the appeal moot. Image
And just like that...another Trump campaign election lawsuit loss.
That's three in the last hour or so.
More legal losing, albeit in a procedural context:
CA11 in Atlanta declines to hear an appeal of a limited emergency order in Sidney Powell's kraken conspiracy case there.
Appeals court says the lower court order just wasn't appealable. Image
The narrow issue here was a limited preservation order by Judge Timothy Batten telling officials in 3 Georgia counties not to reset their voting machines. Powell claims the machines contain evidence of fraud & wanted a MUCH broader order allowing full inspection of more machines.
NEW: And...yet another election case loss for the GOP. That's 5 in the past 90 minutes or so.

The Wisconsin Supreme Court just tossed a petition by a conservative group seeking to invalidate the state's election results. Image
Check out this language from Judge Hagedorn, a conservative himself.
"We are invited to invalidate the entire presidential election in Wisconsin declaring it 'null'--yes, the whole thing."
He adds: "Such a move would appear to be unprecedented in American history." Image
This is a brutal takedown by Judge Hagedorn.
You'd think, he says, the plaintiffs would evidence if they wanted to upend the democratic process.
But no, all they had was a report "based on call center samples and social media research." Image
NEW: A judge in Arizona hands GOP 6th election case loss of evening.
AZ GOP head Kelli Ward challenged the results of the election on several fronts. Judge Randall Warner rejects, writing "The Court finds no misconduct, no fraud, and no effect on the outcome of the election. Image
Ward claimed mail-in ballots were rife with fraud.
Judge Warner found that only 587 could not be validated. Image
Signatures a problem? Not really.
The plaintiff's own document examiner found only 6 signatures that didn't conclusively match the ones on file. Image
What about duplicate ballots? Nope.
The process of weeding out duped ballots was 99.45% accurate, Judge Warner found.
And that .55%?
"There is no evidence that the inaccuracies were intentional or part of a fraudulent scheme. They were mistakes." Image

Good morning.
At 10 am there will be a hearing in Atlanta for Sidney Powell’s “kraken” conspiracy lawsuit to overturn the Georgia elections. Just this morning, a judge in Michigan tossed a similar effort to overturn that state’s results.
Here’s a quick primer on the GA case.
In Powell’s latest filing she says the vote in GA was “infected with fraud” on “multiple dimensions”: absentee ballots illegally counted, nonresidents voted, data shows “anomalous” number of votes to Biden. She also claims Dominion voting machines were hacked by foreign powers.
As proof she offers the now-discredited video of the vote count in State Farm Arena & several “reports” by “experts”—including a former military intel officer codenamed Spider--who use "statistical analysis" to prove that Biden could not have gotten as many votes as he did.

NEW: The first Kraken falls.
In an early ruling Judge Linda Parker in Detroit denies Sidney Powell's emergency motion to overturn Michigan election.
"The right to vote is among the most sacred rights of our democracy and, in turn, uniquely defines us as Americans." she writes. Image
This was the first judicial ruling on Powell's 4 "kraken" conspiracy cases around the country.
Judge Parker's reasoning was comprehensive, including that the suit was moot after Michigan certified its vote last month.
"This ship has sailed." Image
Judge Parker also found Powell's claims untimely.
"They waited too long to knock on the court's door." Image

Sidney Powell's legal team is "dotting eyes" and crossing T's.
It's not a good sign when a judge has to explain to a lawyer the rules for requesting emergency relief.

That's what Judge Pamela Pepper in Milwaukee had to do this morning to Sidney Powell about her "Kraken" lawsuit filed there in federal court.
Judge Pepper also noted all the errors in Powell's motion.
*Mismatched fonts.
*No proposed order as promised
*No addresses listed for those who were supposedly served with the papers.

NEW: GOP Rep. Mike Kelly of PA has asked SCOTUS for an emergency writ to stop the perfection of election results in the state as a first step toward the high court considering an appeal of his lawsuit dismissed over the weekend. Image
Recall that Kelly and others tried to have the 2019 Pennsylvania law that authorized mail-in ballots declared unconstitutional and retroactively nullify their use in this year's election.
The PA Supreme Court dismissed the suit on Saturday.
Kelly asked Justice Samuel Alito, who oversees emergency requests from PA's 3rd Circuit, to effectively freeze certification process in the state pending a potential appeal.
PA has already certified its vote but certain technical steps are still required b4 its electors vote.

NEW: The Trump campaign is trying resurrect the very first lawsuit it filed (and lost) in Michigan on Nov. 6. The new submission--an appeal late last night to the MI Court of Appeals--suggests the campaign is scraping the bottom of the legal barrel in Mich.
Here's what I mean:
The suit first appeared in front of the MI Court of Claims right after the election and accused state officials of mishandling absentee ballots in places like Wayne County.
It was dismissed by Judge Cynthia Stevens. The campaign has waited until now to appeal.
The main proof of wrongdoing it offered was an affidavit by a GOP poll challenger, Jessica Connarn, who claimed a poll worker at the Detroit convention center told her that she herself had been told by other workers to change dates on certain absentee ballots.

JUST IN: This filing by state of PA sums up where we are in that state.
A court today stopped the certification of the PA vote in so far as it wasn't finished in the presidential race. The ruling seems mostly to affect some uncalled state level races. But the Penn wasn't pleased.
The state appealed to the Penn Supreme Court asking for emergency relief.
To be clear, the Commonwealth Court ruling that Pennsylvania has appealed to the PA Supreme Court was a narrow one that set a hearing for Friday on the merits of the underlying suit.
That said, a court's intrusion in the certification process is a big deal.
