Shudhikaran / Samprokshanam

This is nothing but cleansing out the negative energies.
Water has powerful energies to push away the negatives in and around us. The usual method of samprokshan one can do for self and at home in simple way is done from daily to occasional basis

Required :

Copper Vessel
Water
3 drops of Milk
Pinch of Haldi
Pinch of Kumkum
Gangajal
Gaumutra 1 - 3 Drops
A Mango Stem with leaves / Nagavalli ( Paan) / Fresh Flower

Mis all these in a vessel and sit at a place other than Dwva Sthaana in home, turn to east and place the kalash on any stool or cloth etc. And place right hand on it and ring finger dipped in water and chant the below mantras.

कलशस्य मुखे विष्णु कंठे रुद्र समाश्रिता:
मूलेतस्य स्थितो ब्रह्मा मध्ये मात्र गणा स्मृता:।
कुक्षौतु सागरा सर्वे सप्तद्विपा वसुंधरा,
ऋग्वेदो यजुर्वेदो सामगानां अथर्वणा:
अङेश्च सहितासर्वे कलशन्तु समाश्रिता:।’

गङ्गे च यमुने चैव गोदावरि सरस्वति ।
नर्मदे सिन्धु कावेरि जलेऽस्मिन् संनिधिं कुरु ॥

After chanting these shlokas, one should remove hand and write Shree in the water with the ring finger 3 times. Then hold thread/ flower or the stem & start sprinkling water on you for 9 times.

ॐ अपवित्रः पवित्रो वा सर्वावस्थां गतोऽपि वा ।
यः स्मरेत्पुण्डरीकाक्षं स बाह्याभ्यन्तरः शुचिः ॥

पुण्डरीकाक्षं पुण्डरीकाक्षं पुण्डरीकाक्षं
Om Kashi Vishwanathaya Namah
Om Kashi Vishalakshyai Namah
Om Kashi Annapoornayi Namah

Get up, and start sprinkling that water every book and corner of the house and puja room, the main entrance on the simha dwara and windows curtains etc.

While doin this same

Apavitro shloka in repeated mode.

Once done, go into the puja room, apply Chabdana Kumkuma to your forehead and if possible light LOBHAN and spread the fragrance everywhere with a Bell ringing in one hand. After this you can continue with your puja, or other works at home if it's other timings.
