One of the major reasons is Rajni neither has a consistent position on issues, neither does he have any ideological position nor does he show any signs of political instincts.
Rajni lacks a strong political organisations that the Dravidian parties have.

The narrative of no leader in TN parties by the BJP does not hold much ground as the DMK for years made Stalin the future of TN politics.

Rajni's belief that BJP maybe the future in TN is a gross miscalculation and a lack of understanding of Tamil Nadu's polity.
BJP needs AIADMK more than the other way round at least in TN.
For any combination to win in TN it will not be possible without a Dravidian party!!!
