So strange that Michigan Republicans have been so laser focused on Detroit — where Trump actually received more votes in 2020 than he did in 2016 — instead of the Grand Rapids metro area! Almost as though there’s some other factor at play!

Is there some sort of key difference between Detroit and Grand Rapids that might help explain Republicans’ completely illogical obsession with Detroit, where Trump performed better than any other Republican presidential candidate in modern history?

Maybe someone will finally get to the bottom of this total mystery.

While Republican state Rep. Steve Johnson also threw plenty of red meat to his conservative base about Detroit, his simple, logical question to Giuliani (pointing out Trump’s gains in the city) also pretty much gutted the Trump campaign’s mass voter fraud conspiracy theory.
