Blake and Yang killing Adam is important to me and possibly other abuse survivors, as it symbolizes being able to overcome your abuser so you can finally start to heal, whether its forgiving them or blocking them from your life.
Like no I don't condone murder, but 1. Symbolism 2. Adam isn't a real person 3. Death was the only way he was going to stop stalking Blake
ALSO Adam's death was fantastic because he didn't get a speech, no special last words, just "oh" as he realizes that he's lost. His ego had gotten so inflated that it was nice to have just that last bit of deflation before he's gone.
Death speeches are cliche, which is why the Ginga Densetsu Weed anime loses some impact on the deaths (I haven't read the manga yet), but I still liked Akatora's death and I can feel this going from talking about anime crayons to anime dogs so I should stop here.
Adam apologists or anyone even remotely defending him or being upset with his defeat by the hands of the women he caused trauma to will be blocked.
Please do not try and undermine trauma survivors on the subject of trauma.
Thank you. #RWBY
"bUt KiLiNg AdAm MaKeS tHeM jUsT aS bAd"
Incorrect. Adam was not going to stop stalking Blake just because she asked him nicely. He's an abuser, and as a victim of abuse I do not have to see any other side of him.
I do not think people realize they harm they are doing with this.
If you come at me, or any other survivor, with some kind of "but Adam was a victim" or anything of the like, please shut up.
Adam's defeat was liberating. For me, at least, it made me feel like I could finally overcome my own issues.
Do not undermine that. #RWBY
Like seriously. You wouldn't do this in a real life situation would you? Your friend is a rape survivor, and you start defending a rapist (the same or a different) with some bullshit like "well, he was actually a good person otherwise" would you? Because that makes you garbage.
