This is really quite something.
The 8th Earl of Clancarty was interviewed by Terry Wogan in 1982. He made some very enlightening comments. Essentially disclosure. The video was filmed at the Earls home. A studio audience then laughed it into obscurity. m.facebook.com/BBCArchive/vid…
He believed in a hollow earth, ultraterrestrials and by the time he died he was just saying he was at the 1954 Eisenhower meeting. Was he losing his mind or just saying it like it truly was?
He was a member of the House of Lords and in the same year as the Wogan interview pushed for disclosure. This article from January 29th 1982 also shows that Admiral of the Fleet, Lord Hill Norton and ex head of NATO was pushing hard too. 2 years prior was the Rendlesham Incident.
Senior men from wealthy titled families, political sway and contacts in all the highest places pushing for disclosure in the Lords in the 1980s. And this narrative was a joke. Laughed at, mocked, derided. What does it take to push this forward?
