I’ve seen a very disturbing trend taking place where I live & willing to bet everywhere else too. Tho there are some very honorable agencies that really help people in need (mainly rent/financial assistance), what’s goin on here is that many who claim to help w/these things,

actually aren’t. Take my word when I say that I know this first hand. They get $$ from the govt to supposedly help people but much goes to fund themselves. When people go to ask them for help, “case workers” put them thru a series of Q’s ending up in well, wut when the relief

ends & those needing assistance still don’t have jobs. As if there’s plenty of jobs to go around right now during a pandemic. So then these caseworkers pressure people needing help into saying well they don’t know

Oops - but they’ve been doing best they can, which is true!! Wut are they supposed to do?! So the rhetoric ends up in well those in need probably won’t get covid relief funds after all since gee, well no one knows what’ll happen 2 months later!
For frickin sakes! These “help”

agencies are FRAUDS! They’re supposed to be giving out covid relief $$ but they aren’t! Theyre tryin to get around it to keep the damn $ in their own pockets! They want folks in need to end up in the streets or maybe on projects, then brag about how they helped people!

Ones around here are all off-shoots of United Way. Yep, United Way! Only town in my county of residence they seem to have actual funding for it seems is a smaller one that’s mostly more upscale white & wealthier Hispanic & tourist centered. There is a dead fish here!

One decent agency is Catholic Charities. The funds are limited but they do honestly assist people who really do need it. Some of the rest & esp govt funded, are dishonest! I had a really bad feeling about United Way some yrs ago when I saw this blonde woman posting a

bunch of big big signs at a local hospital where I happened to have an appt one day. It was for a photo shoot & she was posing there with/a huge smile on her face. Not long before someone I knew had needed help for a bed for her son & utilities assistance, which United Way is

supposed to help with. She was told flat no. The excuse they used was they had no funds. Bull! She was low income struggling mom! 😑 How can people be so cold hearted?! How?!

I’m very tired as are most of us 🙁 & not tweetin stuff too well & I’m sorry. Just tired & frustrated & 💔💔💔 & seein our nation falling to pieces. But we can pick up & we can build, ground floor up! And right this time! We got the right Potus - YAY @JoeBiden - & the right VP -

Woot woot @KamalaHarris - & we got @SpeakerPelosi in the House still YAY!!! And we CAN GET @ossoff & @ReverendWarnock in the Senate, yeah we sure can!!! So we CAN fix & heel our nation & folks won’t have to suffer! And neither will animals either for that matter! We CAN DO THIS!
