I have been carefully considering how to address a specific problem. Myself & some other media peers recently part of a year-long attack by team of people meant to sow disinformation. The narrative they tried to paint was that myself & some well-known media were foreign assets👇🏻

They we did this by getting close to me & a few others slowly pumping them for information that they could twist into appearing as if there were connections to things that didn’t exist. They have some high profile targets in these attacks. Today they chose another target 👇🏻

I have a client that I set up his professional Twitter page for as part of his social media management that I do. I noticed just minutes ago dozens of new followers all from Russia. This is a tactic these individuals use to try to make false connections with foreign nations

I am in the process of releasing a story to document and inform the public about what this team of people have done. This was part of their attempt to take down of me and those associated with me. They have tried to spin a narrative of foreign oligarchs funding my work. 👇🏻

Here is a screenshot of now it looks like 37 Russian accounts following my clients account. These would’ve had to have been bought. @TwitterComms @Twitter should look into these kinds of attacks. This team of people has been responsible for getting multiple accounts suspended 👇🏻

This is something that they brag about. While I don’t know their true motives it partly looks like they attack anyone that disagrees with them politically. This is while claiming to be Progressives. This team of people has managed to make celebrity contacts that they use 👇🏻

to add credibility to themselves and to get more information out of people who assume that they must be a legitimate “security agency” as they claim. Some of the peoples names they name drop would be well known to you. I personally believe these celebrities are unaware 👇🏻

of how they and their names are being used. This so-called security teams use their names as clout claiming that they are investigating certain people for so-called threats and ask others to help them in that task. Most people myself included assume that they are being honest👇🏻

In my case they tried to get me to give or get them personal information about contacts that I had. Including @kthalps @TaraReade @anthonyzenkus @nicolesandler @ryangrim @ProudSocialist @ShahidForChange and a long list of others to which I refused.👇🏻

As I write this another 40 Russian followers have followed my clients account. Part of this so called “Security Agencies” goal was to target both @ggreenwald @Snowden with the narrative that they two were Russian assets. This team tried unsuccessfully to convince me of this 👇🏻

They went as far as to tell me that they thought @ggreenwald @Snowden were guilty of treason. One of the members of the team spent literally all night on the phone trying to convince me of this. Even going so far as to hinting that treason is rightfully punishable by death 👇🏻

They repetitively tried to ascertain whether I had any connection to either @ggreenwald or @Snowden. Well I know people that know them I do not. However one of their celebrity contacts has both a friendship and a professional interest with both. I believe they targeted him to 👇🏻

I believe he and other other high profile contacts are being manipulated by them. Specifically they manufacture threats against them and come in free of charge saying that they will help them get rid of those threats. Those threats can be personal or professional 👇🏻

In one such case I believe that they instigated an attack against @ShahidForChange in an attempt to not only throw off his campaign but to then insert themselves in his life. Fortunately he did not take the bait. While I was covering the slanderous attack against him👇🏻

They desperately tried to get advance copy of my articles and even tried to interject how they thought I should cover the story. I respectfully told them no. They went as far as to try to offer free editing. Again I declined the help. They then offered me access to stories👇🏻

In an attempt to try to professionally sabotage me they offered me stories that they thought I should cover. All of the stories centered around things that I write about such as online targeted attacks. In each case however shortly after me starting to write the story 👇🏻

They would claim that they found out something unfortunate about the person that they thought originally was the victim & then try to get me to print it. I check facts & every case they couldn’t provide me any & I couldn’t find any other proof 👇🏻

In most of those cases I just dropped the story because I didn’t want to be involved with whatever it was that they were pushing at. They hung a few stories over my head for several months holding back on a contact I needed to complete the story. 👇🏻

I believe this was to keep me on the hook so that they could keep trying to pump information about me. I learned later that they had another group of people in a group thread on signal that they were detailing how they were attempting to set me & @nicolesandler up 👇🏻

I have screenshots that prove that they told people in this group that both me & Nicole were so-called fake progressives in there opinion and that they should do all they could to try to feed @nicolesandler false stories in an attempt to take her down professionally 👇🏻

Some of the people in this group chat on signal that they had created are x NSA, self proclaimed FBI “consultants”, hackers, and paid disinformation agents. It is believed by me and others that they have attempted to hack our emails & phones. 👇🏻

During this past year when I was associating with them they relentlessly tried to get lists of my sponsors for my podcast and writing, as well as investors I have for the expansion of my podcast. I refused to give them the names and they became irate. 👇🏻

Having learned the name of one of my sponsors I believe they tried to kill a deal I had with the sponsor & defame the sponsor by insinuating to others that they had foreign financial backing. All of this happened while I was trying to earn extra money for emergency medical care👇🏻

They would time attacks against me that I didn’t know we’re coming from them yet when they knew I was undergoing a biopsy or other procedures in a time when I was desperately ill. I believe in attempt to keep me from fighting back or to cause MAX damage to my well-being👇🏻

When they targeted a close friend of mine and I refused to give them information they went a step further & got a celebrity follower of mine (that they did free work for) to both unfollow & block me as well as unfollow & block close friends of mine. 👇🏻

In this particular case I have no idea what they said to him to make him comply. I actually wonder if they have leverage on him or if they just told him a good lie. Shortly before this I started writing a story about @TaraReade. One of the members of that security team had 👇🏻

Her contact info. I had mentioned that I wanted to cover the bullying against #TaraReade and for several months she dangle that over my head until she finally made the connection. I did an interview for my article the security team member came back to me claiming 👇🏻

She had found holes in Taras story. I trusted this person so it put doubts in my mind even though I believed and still believe that Tara Reade was sexually assaulted. While portraying herself to Tara as a friend on the backside she was tearing down her story and setting her up 👇🏻

She kept trying to catch Tara in a lie & would send me screenshots that she said amounted to guilt but when I read them they were clearly false equivalency‘s. I don’t think the security member was used to people thinking critically or not just trusting her. She’d become enraged👇🏻

She continued to try to make me part of her now personal attack against Tara Reade. I repetitively expressed I believed Tara despite me being cautious because of the things the security agent had provided me with. It looked legitimate but I later found it all to be manipulated👇🏻

This kind of bait and switch offering of stories or access to those I wish to interview went on all year. During this time. I was able to determine that each one of these people in this so-called security agency had dozens of alts that they would use to fuel an attack on👇🏻

of theirs & then they would respond by coming in as a savior. In most cases they wouldn’t ask for money even when it was offered they would say no. This would allow them the trust of the so-called friend who would put them in contact with others

This has gone on and on I believe for years. They climb up the ladder into media by getting information about people that they leverage against them either by intimidating them into favors or by exposing them for their enemies. They have been on MSNBC & written several books👇🏻

I believe that they managed to get there by manipulating people into trusting them by providing relief to attack they manufactured. In @TaraReades case they were desperately trying to get to @rosemcgowan. They went as far as to try to find out who was publishing 👇🏻

Taras book so they could kill the book offer. Luckily Tara did not tell them who it was before she published it. They had asked me multiple times who is publishing the book and I had asked her and I didn’t know. I didn’t know they were trying to kill the book. 👇🏻

In my case they try to get a hold of any of my clients to destroy my business. As you can see my new client @JasonBWindsor they have tried to take his new account down by buying Russian followers. His account is all about positive change in the world. This attack is evil.

This so-called security team has been responsible for getting several progressive account suspended using illegal tactics. I believe that’s what they are trying to do to my clients account by follow bombing him w Russian accounts that they bought. This can trigger @Twitter 👇🏻

This can trigger twitters algorithms that will shut down accounts thinking that people are buying followers when in reality this so-called security team is doing it as an illegal way of shutting down an account. They then take responsibility on their Twitter for shutting 👇🏻

Down what they say was a security threat. They complete the con by providing screenshots of texts from an unknown number claiming that whoever was suspended also sent threats through text and that they were able to take them down. Claiming they were foreign agents or stalkers 👇🏻

As I stated each one of the security agents have multiple alts that they use to target their prey. One such that I suspected who follow me and goes behind my tweets every day making odd comments just tweeted this out you decide what to make of it. I just blocked them.

I’d like to thank @Twitter @Jack for being so on top of this. Since I have checked back with my clients account I noticed that on top of the Russian bot accounts that I have blocked that Twitter has also suspended several dozens of those bot accounts.
