"Federal officials issued an urgent warning Thursday that the hackers who had penetrated deep into government systems also used other malware — and different attack techniques — that posed “a grave risk to the federal government.”
CISA also warned that the intrusion has compromised government agencies as well as “critical infrastructure” in a sophisticated attack that was hard to detect and will be difficult to undo. apnews.com/article/techno…
Had a bad feeling when news broke last week of Treasury that this would be one of the worst cyberattacks on America. It seems this is shaping out to be the case
“This is looking like it’s the worst hacking case in the history of America,” the official said. “They got into everything.”

What is stumbling me is why the russians wanted it known. They operated all year so carefully in the shadows but last week w FireEye left fingerprints. Either they tripped up or wanted this attack to be known
I really hope this isn't the reason but suspect it might be
"The Energy Department and National Nuclear Security Administration, which maintains the U.S. nuclear weapons stockpile, have evidence that hackers accessed their networks" politico.com/news/2020/12/1…

While I'm on this whatever happened to Putin's cyber proposal at Helsinki? Where the notes got destroyed
"We can analyze [evidence] through the joint working group on cybersecurity, the establishment of which we discussed during our previous contacts,” Putin suggested
This is the biggest cyberattack on America by Russia that has targeted every single private and government sector. The frightening part is what are the Russians going to do this with all this information? They have accessed everything that poses a grave danger to America
I think as we find out more that we will find out it started earlier that spring of this year
And sure enough here it is. Years not months. From WSJ
Corrupt Kharkov mayor and Giuliani associate, Kernes, in Ukraine has died according to reports
The short version of this is he contracted covid and months ago was secretly taken to Germany. There were rumors he died but because of local elections the rumors were denied and he was reelected although no one ever saw him. Months later news comes out he has died
I hope that American gov't finally will understand how dangerous Putin's corrupt murderous regime is and finally take action. Putin and his cronies were allowed to gain strength and become very emboldened over the past decade while operating w barely any pushback. The West slept
The West is finally seeing the effects of an emboldened Russia and the damage to democracy and and Western countries. Putin comes from the corrupt system and is a kgb thug who is using so many of the same tactics but with much greater success because of technology and dark money
Putin and the hardliners have always despised the US and I never understood the endless resets. Hopefully it will finally end and some measures are put in place to stop Russia having the ability of buying so many. This has been going on for decades
Wow! Paul Behrends who passed away over the weekend died from head trauma after a fall. He was closely tied to Putin's Rohrabacher and Russian agent Veselnitskaya from the infamous Don Jr-Trump Tower meet
I usually document these suspicious death tweets that happen in Russia
Speaking of Rohrabacher why was he never investigated for his role of helping Russia in their attack on America? He held high level meets in Russia during 2016 election and was busy trying to get Assange pardoned who eventually said he would cooperate
US Treasury dept has been breached by foreign state backed hackers. Information for deciding policy around the internet and telecommunications was stolen.
Someone should check what Trump knew mobile.reuters.com/article/amp/id…
