2/ "but mark", i hear you object, "the laws aren't supposed to bow to the dollar?"
i hold off from mentioning ticketable misdemeanors, and instead point you to the underlying logic of the lockdowns:
3/ their moral (lol) reasoning goes as follows: "every 30,000 people staying at home stave one life".
the exact number varies, but you know it's on the order of magnitude they are thinking about.
(note: i do *not* condone the lockdowns)
4/ in statistics, the people are anonymous and interchangeable.
this gives them a "moral out" (lol): "if they can convince more than 30,000 people to stay home, they *recoup* their sin of milling out and about".
5/ that's why the elites spread the lockdown message with such fervor: as long as the math moral "check out" in their mind, they feel absolved.
and the more they "sin" breaking the rules, the more they double down on spreading the message.
6/ spoiler: it is ultimately about power - over *you*.
this is done through the wealth transfer, and through dividing the society - the buyer vs the shopkeep; the citizen vs the policeman; the regular working man vs any sympathetic elites he could otherwise ally with.
7/ recommendation:
oh whom am i kidding, this is twitter, can't post it here :-)
frens, do your utmost 👌
