Today, in Times of India, Chennai Edition an outfit called “Artha Kranthi” 2/n
has come out with full page advertisement promising radical tax reforms. If it’s proposals are implemented, a liter of petrol will cost Rs. 30 and a kilo of CNG will cost Rs.6 claims the advertisement. 3/n
Interestingly, this Artha Kranthi which is promising radical tax reforms claimed that it only had advised Modi to demonetize 500 and 1000 currency notes. 4/n

One classic case of the investigation skill of CBI officers is, the case of Sister Abhaya. 1/n
She died in 1992. The local police investigated and closed the case. Later it was transferred to Kerala CB.CID. They too closed the case. On court orders, the case was transferred to CBI. 2/n
Four teams of CBI of various branches investigated the case and filed closure reports. The church lobby in Kerala is so powerful that they were able to influence even senior officers. 3/n

Interestingly, the name “Anaithindhia Makkal Sakthi Kazhagam” was changed as Makkal Sevai Katchi, only in October 2020, say sources.

This Makkal Sevai Katchi has been allotted with a symbol of “Autorickshaw”. 2/n
The applicant had originally asked for “two finger posing” symbol, similar to the one which Rajini introduced in his movie Baba but was denied and allotted Auto symbol.

DMK President MK Stalin after presenting a detailed complaint to Governor Banwarilal Purohit, speaking to media said, the complaints that have been given to the governor had already been given to DVAC, but to no avail. Since the DVAC failed to take action, 1/n
the DMK had moved court and Madras HC had ordered a CBI investigation against CM Edappadi Palanisamy, which was subsequently stayed by HC. The Governor has the power to order a probe, and told the media that Governor said “he will take appropriate action”. 2/n
Stalin also said, DMK will take these charges to people’s court.

However, Stalin should be aware that, Banwarlial Purohit’s only interests in Tamil Nadu is to protect the interest of Brahminical forces. 3/n
