1/ On 12/12/20, masked members of the Georgia III% Security Force attacked unarmed protesters while threatening them with guns.

Meet Corey Wells of Douglasville, GA, aka "Sergeant Treeman," on the left in the vest.

He's a Services Technician at @ATT / Bellsouth in Atlanta, GA.
2/ Wells has been ID'd several times in the press as "Treeman." ImageImage
3/ In October, he and his wife, Shay Wells, also a member of the GA III% Security Force, were interviewed by @SHO_TheCircus.
4/ At past events, Wells has worn a Confederate flag mask, as well as the same tan tactical vest. ImageImage
5/ So let's take a look at what Wells was wearing on 12/12/20.

Black hat with white lettering, black t-shirt, same tan tactical vest. Image
6/ Same as the man on the left of the frame in the attack video above.

Notably, he's missing the camo under the vest but over his black t-shirt, and the radio on his right shoulder.

This is because the attack took place *after* the rally, after the III%ers unloaded their gear. Image
7/ You can compare the two here.

Same black hat with white lettering, black t-shirt, same tan tactical vest. ImageImage
8/ If you want to read more about the attack, which involved approximately one dozen militia members surrounding four unarmed protesters, see the @wabenews article by @TwitrHagen here. wabe.org/counter-protes…
9/ Interestingly, Wells was an officer with @CWAUnion 3204, holding paid positions of treasurer and even Executive Vice President, but as of 2019, he is listed as a non-member, meaning he either quit or was removed from the union. ImageImage
10/ Wells works for @ATT, and you can call their Customer Service line to report him here: 800.331.0500

As of March, he was listed at the NW Marietta Rd location in Atlanta. ImageImageImage
11/ As @TwitrHagen noted, law enforcement doesn't appear to be following up on this attack. Image
12/ Yet antifascists are working to identify the attackers and shut them down.

Justin Daniel Gibson, aka Operator, participated in the attack and was ID'd and fired last week from his job at @OakGroveTech.
13/ Who protects us?

We protect us.

Call 800-331-0500 to tell @ATT that they're employing Corey Wells, a violent member of a far-right miliita, as a Service Technician at the NW Marietta Road location in Atlanta, GA.
❤️🖤✊
14/ @afainatl just dropped the employment info for the Georgia III% Security Force leader Chris Hill here.

He's currently a paralegal at Brannen Law Firm. Script to call and email in the tweet thread below.

1/ Let's talk about the New York Times firing editor Lauren Wolfe, and rise of the alt-right, starting in 2014 with GamerGate.

Wolfe tweeted that she had "chills" on inauguration day.

The right predictably spun up an outrage cycle, and Wolfe was fired.
2/ To some of us, this looked a *lot* like GamerGate, a misogynistic harassment campaign whereby a collection of creeps and incels pretended that they were the victims of a liberal gaming press, and leveraged that position to attack feminists.
3/ For people watching the far-right, we saw exactly how hate groups used that to recruit.

In September 2014, alt-right personality Milo Yiannopoulos, then Breitbart's Tech Editor, published the private emails of a games journalist listserv, as evidence of their liberal agenda.
