Modern Simpsons’ character designs make me shiver 
I know I’ve talked about this before but seriously they don’t look like they belong in the same universe it’s unnerving
For me they lost their way when they started giving them cheekbones. No longer cute wacky cartoon characters, just hideous yellow humanoids.

The Simpsons family no longer fit the world around them. They have big eyes and funky (although now duller) designs and live in a crazy colored house. Everyone that isn't the original cast is a small eyed, cheekboned, dull design in a now regular colored world.

Script quality aside, the artistic quality and later decay of the Simpsons is a subject I’m so into I might do a researched video on it someday.
Btw Disenchantment does have what I’d call a good evolved version of the Simpsons/ Matt Groening style. Might be cause he was more involved in the production of this one and/or the showrunners actually cared about it looking like it should.
