what I want for Christmas:
my 89-year-old grandfather's assisted living care facility has been BATTERED with COVID and lost several people in memory care and on his floor.
their staff has been working tirelessly and with deep compassion to keep us updated and keep them safe.

at the end of every year, they request donations for an employee fund.
their employees are all incredible and they adore Pop. I got cards for my birthday, and he got balloons and flowers for his 🥺💜 and they work SO. HARD.

if you can't donate funds, that's perfectly fine! you could send a holiday card instead and that would mean the WORLD to us this year. our family is VERY small (like family name dying out after this generation small 😩).

also, a card to the staff would be amazing—all of our front line workers for the elderly have been slammed and are doing their very best. they've witnessed tragedies we can't even imagine.
