The yellow string is to give light or happiness! It’s not a sudden switch of attitude but the string gave it a push and the humans would gradually find that happiness and serenity themselves :)

Something that they love doing! Like what they were happy and found peace in, in which this case 👀👀 the girl and her flowers and looking at the string reminded her and gave her motivation to get up and start her day!
